The Love of a Sister...

The Love of a Sister is something Amazing. Today, I witnessed unconditional sisterly love at its best. 

During my great Uncle's Celebration of Life, my older cousin Angie( the baby girl of the crew) was asked to sing one of her father's favorite songs. I'm sure it was a hard task, one I pray I never have to face. As she tried to collect her thoughts and sing, she just couldn't get it together. I'm sure it was hard and the fact that she stood up there took a lot of courage. Rather than her giving up, her older sister LaKaye came and joined her and sang the song with her.

I thought of my sisters and my Sistergirls. They each hold a special place in my heart. When they are in need, it's my pleasure to support them. Although I have biological sisters, we did not live together all of my life. As I grew older,I was extremely blessed to be loved on and excepted by so many sisters. For once it felt good to be a " baby sister". 

As the day comes to an end, my heart is full.. I leave each of you with the words of Whitney Houston and CeCe Winans," Count on me through thick and thin a friendship that will never end. When you are weak I will be strong, helping U to carry on. Count on me I will be there, don't be afraid. Please believe me when I say, Count on Me"...
