Yay, another Monday. NOT~~~ LOL
Another week to live, shoot for your dReams and make it happen. If you're anything like me, everyday is a new day filled with tons of possibilities. I'm learning that, in order to keep going forward that I have to drop some people along the way. Life is so not the competition that some would like it to be.
I remember the phrase, " Oh, you trying to be like the Jones'" growing up. I truly didn't get it nor understand until I blossomed into my own. Competing with the Jones', everything they get you want, everything they do, you want to do it better. And the Jones' isn't necessarily a family with the last name Jones, its just the way its worded(LOL)..
Everyone has the ability to be GREAT. Each night, there are over a billion stars in the sky. When I look up, I wish upon a different one but in my mind, if it's positioned in the same spot, that's MY STAR~
Let's look at our lives in the same perspective.
~I write, you sing,
~I'm a business owner, you work for someone,
~I have a used truck, you have a new truck,
~I went to a 4 year school, you got your GED,
~I'm extra, you're Normal(o_O)
(These are RANDOM comparisons)
There's no difference in US, we just choose different paths. Never allow someone's opinion be the reason you make alterations to who you are. You are the STAR of YOUR novel. you control the LANE you drive in and you live YOUR LIFE according to your terms.
When we all learn to appreciate our lives and worth for what it is, we'll all become better and WIN in the END. Continue to personalize your life. Your canvas isn't mine but I like it and Good for U~

There are so many who would benefit from reading this sis!!! Woo hoo! You hit the nail on the head! I so despise comparisons! I love everybody for who they are and now if they would just do the same for me! My mother always taught us to never be jealous of others and if she found out she would tell us she was not going to be happy. Well we knew that meant she might beat it out of us lol! What she did teach us was to work harder, strive for more and aim higher if ever we wanted more. She also reminded us that in the end what is meant for others many not be meant for us. What is meant for us will be ours (job, house, education, etc.) As always, thank you for sharing a piece of you with us. Your words provoke the thinking process and that "Aha moment". Yea I get ;-)
